OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to preserve and promote the history of the UH-34D Marine Helicopter and the men who flew and maintained it during war and peace.  We will carry out this mission by traveling throughout the United States attending events and venues that will allow us to inform and educate children and adults alike about the important role that this helicopter and its crewmembers have played in the recent history of our country.  We will accomplish this as follows

  • By displaying a historical aircraft and it's history as documented in vintage logbooks, memorabilia and photos
  • By providing an education medium for students and the community
  • By honoring those who flew in these aircraft in defense of our country
  • By providing a Traveling Memorial to honor the members of our squadron and all Veterans
  • By partnering with child based, educational and other non-profits to assist them in fulfilling their mission
